Busy, Busy, Busy.

Well I love Christmas, when it finally arrives, but hate all the hastle of shopping for presents, so this year I decided that I would give christmas cakes as presents, so have been busy this week, weighing out ingredients, soaking fruit in brandy, and baking cakes, 6 down and 3 still to make, and will start decorating them tomorrow, as 4 have to be ready for a trip down to Birmingham  at the end of Nov. Anyway in between cakes I have managed to make a few cards and here is one of them, it's for our grandson's first christmas.

It's an 8 x 8 card, and the image, backing paper and inserts are all from a   crafters companion ,popcorn  bear CD, sentiment was done on the computer, and i've added ribbon and a couple of gems

PUDSEY BEAR

I saw this stamp at the Harrogate craft show at the LOTV stall, £2.00 from the sale goes to children in need, and as I was born in Pudsey I had to buy it. And here is one of the cards I made.

I am going to make all my grandchildren a card with the stamp
I coloured  Pudsey with copics, and made my own backing paper, cut a flower with my silhouette robo and added a brad for a bit of bling.

What a lovely day

Well I thought that after the bonfires and fireworks of last night it would be a foggy day today, but it has been a lovely day, with the sun shining brightly, only thing is , the sun shows up the dust, ah well a bit of dust never hurt anyone, and today I am cardmaking, so dusting can wait till tomorrow. I am finally getting to grips with my robo silhouette, and I cut these flowers with it. They were made just using a basic heart shape, welded together to make a flower, cut out in different sizes, and layered up.

I used craft card for the base, and used a papermania birdsong stamp and versemark to make the background, the papers are also papermania birdsong, added a few green gems and sentiment was done on computer.

Where does it go

The time I mean, I always seem to be rushing about and getting nothing done.Well I did make 34 birthday invites for my grandsons party, and had the grandchildren for a day, as it was half term,and we did our first carboot sale on Sun, now that was an experience.Anyway I have managed to make a card this week, and here it is

I love this cute image, it's from a popcorn bear CD as is the backing paper, I used nesties to cut the circles, and the large snoflake is a cuttlebug die, the small ones are punched, and they are covered with stickles. The ribbon is a scrap from my box, and the pearls and gems are also from my stash I am entering this card in the following challenges
