A NEW BABY

Well it's nice to see the sun today, after all the rain this week, do hope you're not affected by the flooding. Anyway a quick post, as off  to babysit soon. My daughter asked me to make this card for her neighbours, who have just become grandparents.

The image is a digi from here coloured with copics, the embossing folder is from Crafts Too and  i'm not sure where the papers are from as i've had them quite a while. I am entering the card in this challenge http://disdigidesignschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/     use more than 1 diecut  or punch .
Well think it will be a very late night tonight, as son and dil are off to Manchester to see John Bishop, so they won't be home till at least midnight, and then we have to get back to Bradford from Leeds, so think  we'll have a lie in tomorrow .                                                    

Less Is More

 I haven't entered  the  lessismoore. challenge for quite a while, but made this card for friends, and as it fits this weeks challenge, which is take 3 challenges, here it is

 The image and sentiment were printed on the computer, and cut out with nesties, added ribbon and flower and punched leaves.

Starting School

This will be a quick post, as one of the challenges I want to enter closes at midnight, and don't want to miss it. Anyway this is a card for my grandson, who will be starting at pre-school on Mon.

As he always wanted to take most of the contents of his toybox to nursery, I thought this image would be appropriate

Another male card

 Cards for men aren't my favourite thing, but I have really enjoyed making the last two, this is for a friend who likes his golf

Keeping to my promise

to blog more often. I've just made this card for my elder brothers birthday, he will be 68 this month, in fact I have two brothers and we are all in our 60s. I was just thinking this morning, when I was a child, I thought people who were 60 were  really old, now i've reached that age, and I don't feel i'm old, well okay on the odd day I do feel ancient, but i'm a lot more active than my grandparents were. Anyway enough of my ramblings, here is the card

my brother  and sil both love crown green bowling, so I thought this image would be ideal, it's from  'justinklined ' and is coloured with copics, and I used distress inks for the background . I have followed the sketch over at sketch and stash , and the embroidery thread and card candi are from my stash.

Back for good

Well i've been a bad blogger just lately, but hopefully i'm now back and ready to get down to crafting. We have been looking after the grandchildren in the school holidays, and had a great time, but they do wear us out, so I have taken an extra weeks rest, and am now raring to go.
