FINALLY

Well i've actually done it ,made a card for theLess is More Challenge it's not my normal style, but this week there was a sketch to follow, so i've had a go, hope its okay

I've embossed the bottom of the card with a craft concepts folder called gem flourish, and embossed two lines above this,  added three poppies from WOC,and the sentiment was printed straight onto the card.
Hope it is okay,
Thanks for visiting my blog and I love to read your coments, love Irene

JUST A QUICK POST

just want to add this card, before my computer goes to the repair shop, to have my SD card removed from the CD slot, yes I am stupid! but it appears I am not alone, as seems to be quite common. Any way here is my card

I really love these backing papers, they are from Botanical collection paperstack from Prima, and I bought them from the show at Harrogate at the weekend, image is LOTV coloured with copics, and the flowers are new, also from Harrogate, and I have added stickles to them. I am entering this card in
LOTV sketch challenge

Well did we shop till we dropped? well if we had stayed any longer, I think they would have thrown us out.I would show you all what I bought, but had an accident with my SDcard, long story, so unfortunatly I can't, so will show you a card instead. I made this card for another buddy on Docrafts, for her birthday,

40TH BIRTHDAY

Not my birthday, i'm way past 40, and would I really want to be that age again, with 3 teenagers and a full time job, i'm happy being retired, and looking after the grandchildren now and again. It is our son in laws birthday on Weds, and we have all been out for a lovely lunch today to celebrate. I find mens cards difficult, probably because I can't use flowers and ribbon, but i'm quite pleased with this one. I have had the stamp for a few years, and never used it (one of those impulse buys from QVC ) and found it lurking at the bottom of my stamp drawer. I used copics to colour, and backing papers are from a pack I bought last year, sorry don't know the make and chipboard letters also coloured with copics

i'm now off for a blog hop before going to bed, and tomorrow must find time to do a challenge card. Thanks for paying me a visit bye for now Irene xx
