A simple card

Well i'm still sticking to my resolution  to use up my stash and only buy essentials, but that may change next month as I am going to the craft show at Harrogate, can't go all that way and not spend can I? Anyway here's a card I made yesterday, and apart from the card blank and pearls it's all from my scrap box

Finally made a card

I made my daughter a frilly scarf for christmas and that resulted in some orders, anyway they are all done, so back to the card making. I am shut away in my craftroom at the moment, as hubby is watching football ( Liverpool v Cardiff ), and shouting at the tv, if Liverpool loose I may be here for a long while. Anyway the card I have made  is an easter card for my Granddaughter Freya

Oh dear it seems Liverpool are a goal down , dare I go start dinner , think i'll do a bit of blog hopping xx                                                               

NEARLY GONE

The snow that is, we had about 4" on Sat evening, but still managed to get out for the meal at friends, although it was a bit dodgy driving home. And the malteser cheesecake tasted great, I only had a small piece, well it was a smaller piece than the others had!!
Anyway I would like to show you this card, I made it as a sample for a MCS show, on Creat and Craft, and was chuffed to see it on the  telly.

The lace was a gift from a friend, I threaded  narrow blue ribbon through it, and then arranged some of the ribbon in the flowers

and the stars on the pins are blue, but don't show up very well.

WILL IT SNOW

We are going to friends for a  meal tomorrow evening, I am making the dessert, a malteser cheesecake, never made it before, hope it's okay, although I will only be able to have a very small piece, as I am diabetic.Hope it doesn't snow too much, and stop us going.
Anyway on to the card I have made for my brother's birthday, he was born on 29th Feb, so gets a proper birthday this year.

The image is from disdigidownloads. coloured with copics, the BP is from Prima botanical paperstack, and I cut the mats with my silhouette.
