Friendship

Hi everyone, it's rather chilly outside today, so i'm spending some time in my craft room, catching up on things and having a sort out. We have family coming to stay for a few days at the weekend, so won't get any crafting done, but it will be great to see the grandchildren, and their mum and dad of course. Anyway here is a card I made late last night.

The image is a PB stamp, coloured with copics, and the papers are from a first edition pad called summer breeze, lace, ribbon  gems and flowers from stash. I am entering the following challenges

OCTOBER IS

Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and as the challenge at http://dreamvalleychallenges.blogspot.co.uk/ is go pink, I just had to use this image from Krista, it's called 'boobie love'. You see just over 19 years ago, I sat in a consulting room, and the surgeon who had removed a lump from my breast 2 weeks previous, told me it was cancer, and unfortunately it had spread and I would have to have a mastectomy. Now I was only 43 at the time, so not eligible for the screening program, so if I hadn't found the lump myself, I. wouldn't  be here now. So please ladies, check yourself regularly.
