Another Friendship Card

Well with family birthdays, looking after grandson, who has suddenly become very mobile, and making DT cards,I haven't had much time to myself, but have finally managed  the time to make this months friendship card for the swap over on Docrafts forum.

I used a nitwit stamp, coloured with copics, which was free with simply homemade magazine, the papers are also free nitwit papers from simply cards and papercraft, and I used the same papers to make the flowers.I followed Gemma's sketch from http://sketchandstashchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/    x

Friendship Card

Well what a week, what with the weather, and being ill most of the week, I haven't got much to show , but I did manage to make a card for the friendship swap over on Docrafts. I saw that papercraft essentials mag, had some cute whimsy stamps as the free gift, and just loved one of the sentiments, so had to buy it, and here is the card I made

Anniversary card

Well they say things come in 3s, and after having to buy a new computer monitor, on Mon morning we had no power to all the electric sockets upstairs, so we had to call out an electrician, who i'm glad to say found the fault, and got power back on, but as it was a bank holiday, cost an arm and a leg, then had problems with phone line, luckily I sorted that with no expence, but all in all a very expensive week. Anyway on to crafty things, here is a card for our daughter and sil, who are celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary tomorrow,

Panic Over

Happily surfing the web on Weds, looking at craft sites of course, when all of a sudden, a black screen, couldn't sort it out, and had to turn computer off by unplugging, not good. So trip to computer shop, and after 2 days got a call to say it couldn't be mended, big panic, till he told me it was only the monitor that had a fault, and it would be cheaper to buy a replacement, than fix it, but he couldn't get me a replacement till next Weds. Well as I had cards to finish, and needed to print some papers, not good, but a trip to Argos  last night, got me sorted , and i'm up and running again, and here is one of the cards that I finally finished this morning.

It's for the birthday of a friend, who has fireworks at most of his parties, so thought this image would be appropriate.

Another Sunny Day

Well it's a beautiful day again here in West Yorkshire, and i'm pleased to say that I feel much better, although I have a  hacking cough, and being outside seems to make it worse, so am staying indoors for the moment. Will have to venture into the garden later, as we are having a BBQ, daughter and family coming for birthday tea. Anyway here is a card I made yesterday, it's for a friend who will soon have a new addition to her family

Not blogged for a while

Sorry I haven't been around blogland for a while, went to stay with my  my youngest daughter and her family for a week, then got bogged down with other  family stuff, but as it's oldest daughter's birthday on Thurs, thought i'd better get organised and make a card. Can't believe Tracy is 40 this year, where has the time gone?

I watched Mel Heaton on Creat and Craft colouring with copics last week, so got my copics out and coloured this image, first time I haven't binned an attempt at colouring long hair!
