Not blogged for a while

Sorry I haven't been around blogland for a while, went to stay with my  my youngest daughter and her family for a week, then got bogged down with other  family stuff, but as it's oldest daughter's birthday on Thurs, thought i'd better get organised and make a card. Can't believe Tracy is 40 this year, where has the time gone?

I watched Mel Heaton on Creat and Craft colouring with copics last week, so got my copics out and coloured this image, first time I haven't binned an attempt at colouring long hair!

A card for nanny

Well would you believe it, I've actually found my craft desk today, been having a tidy up as the weather is  dreadful, surely we can't be short of water now. Anyway here is another baby card, this is for Harper's nanny.

Anyway we are picking our grandson George up from Leeds tomorrow, and having him for the day, so have to be up at 6 in the morning, not something we do very often, now we are retired, so going to be a long day, so think an early night is called for, so bye for now

Our New Grandaughter

We have just spent the weekend in Birmingham, visiting our new grandaughter Harper Rae, a little sister for Freddie, who arrived 2 weeks early on Thurs 19th April  at 6:34am weighing 5lb 13ozs, and here she is with her proud big brother

A LITTLE CUTIE

Isn't the image on this card so cute

My friend Susan gifted me a few PB images, and this one is so cute. I coloured it with a mixture of copics, promarkers and prisma pencils, used seam binding for the bow, and the gems and flowers are a birthday gift from my daughter, will add a sentiment, when I decide who the card is for . Happy Anniversary

Well it was my birthday yesterday, and our wedding anniversary, 42 years, and I nearly forgot to make hubby a card. Well my excuse is I have a lot on my mind,  our new granddaughter is due in the next few weeks, and as her brother arrived 5 weeks early, every time the phone rings, I think it's news. And it doesn't help that they live in Birmingham. The image and backing paper are from a MCS CD, and I cut the letters out with my silhouette SD, and the ribbon is from my stash, I think I bought it to go round a wedding cake and never used it

Well we are off to Manchester tomorrow to see Il Divo in concert, this is our anniversary present to each other, seen them twice before, so know they will be great.                                                            

An Easter Card

Well finally got round to making a card that I can show you. I spent most of the weekend making sample cards for the POTW on Creat and Craft on Fri 13th, so they are top secret at the moment,  then we have had Megan and Freya for a couple of days, as it is school holidays, they have made easter cards and an easter basket each today, and they made a very good job of them. Anyway footy on the telly tonight, so I have made a couple of easter cards myself, and here is one of them
